Las Palmas de Gran Canaria revives folk performances in the open air on weekends. Tourism of the City Council of the capital resumes next Saturday, April 30, in the Plaza de España, and on Sunday, May 1, in the Pueblo Canario, music and traditional Canarian dances after 2 years.

The performances of Canarian folk music and dance in the Pueblo Canario is one of the benchmark activities every Sunday in the city, with the singularity that all the groups wear the traditional Gran Canaria attire devised by Néstor Martín – Fernández de la Torre, and they will continue to take turns every Sunday throughout the year.

But Canarian music will also debut on stage and, from April 30, every Saturday in the morning, the Department of Tourism will program music and dance performances in the Plaza de España.
