DESCRIPTION:\nFIESTAS PATRONALES DE SAN FERNANDO DE MASPALOMAS 25 MAY – 4 JUNE \nHighlights:\nThe Patron Saint Festivities of San Fernando de Maspalomas will start on Thursday, May 25, and will continue until Sunday, June 4. The reading of the proclamation will take place in the Church, at 20:00 where the Maspalomas Sol y Arena Municipal Music Band, the Choir of the Municipal Music School and the Maspalomas Choir will present the Hymn of San Fernando.\nOn Friday: Animation for kids at 18:00 and Canarian party ‘Masparranda’  in the old town of San Fernando at 21:00. A night with music and DJ’s at 23:00 with DJ’s \nOn Saturday: Romería, the pilgrimage-offering will take place at 18:30. Route: Plaza de Timanfaya, Avda de Santa Brigida, Avda de Gáldar, Hernández Garcia, Avda de Tejeda to Parque de San Fernando. \nOn Sunday: Farmers’ market from 08:30, Foam party at 11:00, the gala for the election of the children’s and youth queens at 21:00 \nOn Monday:  Big Birthday party to all the children at 18:00 at plaza de San Fernando. At 2015: the performance of the municipal choir in the church. At 21:30 Tribute concert to Michael Jackson by Gus Jackson and the night time fiesta with orchestras at 23:00 \n\nfifth edition of the DJ Contest that will be held at 22:00  in the beach bar area, with a performance by Los del Class and YetGarbey.\nOn Tuesday: the mass and procession in honor of the saint at 11:30. The traditional fish barbecue will be organized on the patron saint’s day at 13:30 on the plot of the school (Colegio Maspalomas I) and enlivened by music at 14:00.That same Tuesday, on the occasion of the Day of the Canary Islands, at 20:00, the Festival of the Day of the Canary Islands will be held in the Plaza de San Fernando, with a concert-performance by the Agrupación Folklorica Umiaya and the unveiling of a plaque in honor of Ico Arrocha.\n
