DESCRIPTION:\nValsequillo will welcome Christmas with the lighting of the streets of the town centre on Saturday, 9 December. This year, as a novelty, the Valsequillo City Council has put a skating rink in the Tifariti square, starting on the 9th, free of charge, and a tourist train that will travel through several streets of the town, on Sunday, December 17, with the super Family Sunday. More than fifty events will take place in the town during this Christmas to enjoy and share with the family.\nIcerink on plaza de Tifariti between 9 December – 5 January \nOpening hours: 10December 12:00-14:00 and 17:00-20:00 / 11-15 December 17:00-20:00 / 16-17 December 11:00-14:00 and 17:00-21:00 / Closed 25 & 31 December and 1 January \nHighlights:\nSaturday 9 December: \nat 18:00 The announcing street parade in the pedestrian area at 19:00 “Llego La Navidad” ‘Christmas is Here’ show, followed by fireworks.\nDuring the same afternoon, the ice rink also opens on Plaza de Tifariti.\nFriday 15 December:\nat 18:30 Christmas street parade in the pedestrian area. at 20:30 Audiovisual show mapping “Polar Express”\nSaturday 16 December:\nat 19:00 Show “Mickey, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” on the pedestrian area. at 21:00 Christmas Carols by local “Three Tenors” at Plaza de San Miguel. at 22:00 Concert by Los Salvapantallas, a very popular band at Plaza de San Miguel.\nDuring the afternoon there will also be tastings of local products and promotion of local businesses.\nSunday 17 December: Super Family Sunday from 11:00\nFantasy Train touring the centre of Valsequillo in the morning and afternoon. You can hop on the train at Plaza de San Miguel. Activities for the whole family.\nFriday 22 December: Municipal Christmas Carols Meeting and Canarian Night\nfrom 21:00 on the pedestrian area Christmas carol singing and Canarian music with roasted chestnuts, corn and also hot chocolate, and Christmas products.\nSaturday 23 December: Family Christmas Saturday from 11:00\nFamily activities, games and workshops, clown Kikiriki on the pedestrian area.\nSunday 24 December: Santa Claus visit \nat 11:00 animation by Christmas characters. at 11:30 ‘Rufino Trotamundos’ a juggling show whilst waiting for Santa’s visit. at 12:30 Santa will arrive.\nFriday 5 January: Reyes Magos.
