SUMMARY:Musicando – Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n“Musicando” is a cycle of concerts in the capital with scheduled concerts.  Admission to these musical events is free until capacity is reached.\n\nSaturday 24 February: \n Fabiola Trujillo, the first date of the 𝓜𝓾𝓼𝓲𝓬𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓸 roots music concert series. The Canarian artist will pay tribute to ranchera music with her show “Con alma Mexicana.”\n\n\nat 21:00 Auditorio José Antonio Ramos in Parque Doramas\n\n\n\nSaturday 16 March:\nSylvie Hernández will be the one to present her “Magua” in the Tamaraceite Sur park,(parque de Tamaraceite Sur), between the shopping centers and the GC-3. Hernández, a singer-songwriter and graduate in Literary Studies, won the Alberto Delgado Young Music Award in 2022, before developing a promising career marked by her connection with the Latin American sounds with which the Canarian audience so identifies. Her concerto has the same title as her first and most recent album.\n\n\nSaturday 13 April: \nJosé Manuel Ramos and Benito Cabrera will be the main protagonists at the José Antonio Ramos Auditorium, with “Étnico.” Guitar and timple pair this musical proposal based on traditional Canarian music. The former soloist of Los Sabandeños and the innovator of the traditional timple have collaborated on numerous occasions: today they come together again to demonstrate that they are two greats of folk.\n\nSaturday 18 May:\nOn May 18, another duo, formed by Beatriz Alonso and Javier Cerpa, performs in the Plaza de Santo Domingo with “Orillas.” Cerpa signs the music and arrangements, and Alonso adorns them with his voice. Together they offer a repertoire built based on traditional music and lyrics by the writer Alexis Ravelo. A luxury of creative exercise, which is enriched with several classic pieces of Latin American music.\n\nSaturday 1 June:\nOnce again, the José Antonio Ramos Auditorium will host, on June 1, Paco Perera, bassist, and voice who combines tradition and innovation, the old and the new, the local and the universal. The acoustic and the electronic, yes, with Canarian folklore as the common thread of his art, which attracts electronic music and also jazz.\n\n
