DESCRIPTION:\nOn Saturday, 18 May 2024 the Gran Canaria Island Championship, Cazafotosub, returns to Agaete.\nThis sport modality consists of photographing the greatest number of fish species in a certain area in freediving.\nThis time it will be the island test of Gran Canaria and the same area as in 2022 will be repeated, the beach from the old harbour to the “finger of the God”.\nIn the last edition, 61 different species were photographed. And in this edition it is expected to break that record.\nThe Sports Department of the Agaete City Council invites lovers of underwater photography in freediving to participate in this test, since “they will be able to see first-hand the excellence of the seabed of Agaete, as well as its rich biodiversity.\n \n
