DESCRIPTION:\nThe #GranCanaria Swim Run (SwimRun Series Canarias) will unite Playa de las Burras and Faro de Maspalomas on Sunday, 10 November 2024.\nThe south of our island will welcome the participants in this event that combines swimming and athletics, showcasing our landscapes and demonstrating the potential of our waters and our climate for sports.\nThis year, the race on the island of Gran Canaria will have a single distance for adults: SPRINT with a total distance of 10,415m. of which 2,335 m. is swimming and 8,080 is running. Run – Swim – Run – Swim again and again… Max. finishing time is 2 hours 45 minutes. Departure on Sunday will be on Las Burras Beach at 11:00 and the finish line at Faro de Maspalomas\nThe race also includes the Gran Canaria Swimrun Maspalomas KIDS modality in two different sections for 8-12 and 13-17 years.\n \n“Swimrun is an exciting endurance discipline that combines open water swimming sections with running sections across varied terrain”\n\n \n
