DESCRIPTION:\nMogán lights up Christmas on Saturday, 30 November and the Christmas program in the municipality will extend until 5 January with events such as La Casa de la Navidad, the Living Nativity Scene of Veneguera, Xmas carol events, parades, workshops, and free shows.\nAs a novelty, a daytime party will be held on Puerto Rico Beach on the last day of the year to toast 2025 and a Santa Claus parade on December 23 in the Mogán Pueblo, aka Mogán Casco.\nMore than 50 free events make up the Christmas program that will reach the neighbourhoods of Mogán from 30 November to the eve of Three Kings’ Day.\nHighlights:\nSaturday 30 November: \nat 19:00 on the recently built pedestrian promenade in Arguineguín, a tribute to Fito & Fitipaldis by the Mogán Art Schools, followed by a fun and colorful show as the Christmas lights will be switched on. In addition, people who join the party will find stalls on the promenade to enjoy wines and tapas as well as artisan crafts. The evening will be rounded off by Los 600 and DJ Nacho.\nThe program, which will end on 5 January, will include well-established events such as the Living Nativity Scene in Veneguera on 25 December, the end-of-year celebrations in Arguineguín, Mogán and Playa de Mogán, and the Three Kings Parade. In addition, there will be concerts by the Mogán Municipal Band and the Mogán Art Schools, Christmas carol gatherings with the town’s street bands, workshops and family and children’s shows. Admission is free.\nFriday 13 December:\nat 20:30 ‘It will be Christmas’ concert by the Moganero Pedro Manuel Afonso in the Plaza de Las Gañanías in Playa de Mogán\nSaturday 14 December:\n11:00 contest of the Canarian dog breed ‘Presa Canario’ at Plaza Pérez Galdós in Arguineguin\nat 19:30 Mass in the Church of San Antonio de Padua and afterwards, the Ornamental Nativity Scene will be open to the public  ( opening hours Monday to Sunday 11:00-13:00 and from 17:00-19:00 – 1 & January closed)\nSunday 15 December:\n19:30 Christmas concert by the Banda de Música de Mogán at Plaza Dr. Pedro Betancor León in Playa de Mogán\nSaturday 21 December: \nat 20:00 Mass, followed by Christmas Carols in the Church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, in Arguineguín\nMonday 30 December \nfrom 19:00 ‘Merca Navidad’ in parque Nicolás Quesada. A Christmas market with crafts, gifts, and food products, enlivened by a concert by Los Salvapantallas and DJ Promaster.\nTuesday 31 December: NEW YEAR \n11:00-15:00 Daytime New Year celebrations on the Beach of Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria with music, the lucky 12 grapes, and cava.\nArguineguin: 00:30-05:00 Party with Grupo Arena, DJs Juanjo and Promaster\nPlaya de Mogán: 00:10-04:00 Party with Hache Tamarindo and Grupo Arena\nMogán Pueblo: 23:00-05:00 Party with Que Chimba, DJ Promaster and Leyenda Joven\nFriday 3 January:\n17:00 Christmas parade in Playa de Mogán.
