DESCRIPTION:\nFestivities in honour of Saint Isidro the Labrador and Saint Mary of the Head in Juncalillo de Gáldar between 30 May- 8 June 2025.\nThursday 15 May is a local bank holiday in the municipality of Gáldar: The Feast of San Isidro Labrador-  Festividad de San Isidro Labrador\nProgram 2025: \nReligious services: :\nSaturday, June 7:\n– At 5:30 p.m., Mass for the Lord’s Day.\n– At 6:30 p.m., PILGRIMAGE-OFFERING IN HONOUR OF SAINT ISIDRO THE LABRADOR AND SAINT MARY OF THE HEAD.\n(The collected goods will be donated to charity centers).\nSunday, June 8: MAIN FIESTA DAY\n– At 12:00 p.m., a solemn religious service presided over by the parish priest, Mr. José Manuel Martínez Cruz. The musical performance will be by MIGUEL ÁNGEL.\n– Next, a procession of the venerated images of Saint Isidore the Farmer and St. Mary of the Head through the town streets, accompanied by the Vitamina Band.\nSaturday, June 21: Solemnity of Corpus Christi\n– At 5:30 p.m., solemn Eucharist, followed by a procession with the Blessed Sacrament through the carpeted streets of the town.\n(We ask for your help making carpets.)\nPOPULAR EVENTS:\nFriday, May 30: Town Decoration\nSaturday, May 31:\n– At 9:30 p.m., traditional auction (we encourage all residents to participate by offering auction items, bidding, and auctioning).\n– Next, the Verbena del Remate, led by the group ENCLAVE MUSICAL.\nSaturday, June 7: ROMERÍA, PILGRIMAGE-OFFERING IN HONOUR OF SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR AND STAÍA DE LA CABEZA\n– At 5:30 p.m., the floats will gather at Llano Juncal.\n– At 6:00 p.m., the Pilgrimage will depart for the town square. The A.F. Roca Canaria, A.C. Surcos y Arados, Parranda Amigos de Tejeda, and other participating groups will join the procession.\n– After the Pilgrimage, there will be a TAIFA DANCE in the town square with the A.F. Roca Canaria, A.C. Surcos y Arados, and other participating groups.\n– After the Taifa Dance, there will be a ROMERO FESTIVAL, performed by GRUPO D´MUSIC.\nSunday, June 8:\n– At 6:30 p.m., CHILDREN’S PARTY. There will be a piñata, games, and hot chocolate for the little ones, as well as a bouncy castle.\n\n
