DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Las Coloradas neighbourhood in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is celebrating their festivities in honour of the Virgin of Fatima between 9-18 May 2025. The festive program includes street parties, children’s activities, religious events, traditional games, and sporting events.\n\n\n\n\n\nFriday 9 May:\n20:00 The festivities will begin with a street party by the Línea Latina group in the neighbourhood square.\nSaturday 10 May:\n12:00 Zumba class\n13:00 Verbena, a lively street party with a performance by Pepe Benavente.\nSunday 11 May:\n11:00 A children’s activities that will include a foam party and bouncy castles 16:00\nTuesday 13 May\n06:00 The Rosary of the Dawn procession\n18:00 Mass will take place, followed by a snack.\nWednesday 14 May\n17:30 The papagüevos will perform a parade accompanied by a batucada (drum band). This will be followed by traditional games and a snack organized by the ADASAT cultural association.\nFriday, 16 May:\n19:00 HiFi for children and adults. Following the festivities, there will be an Armonía Show concert in the neighbourhood square.\nOn Saturday, 17 May\n09:00 A Canary Island pelota tournament\n14:00 Flower carpets will be laid on Jesús Nazareno and Padre Morales Melero streets\n20:30 A Canarian night with folklore groups will be held, and the closing festival open-air dance with the Arena Group will be held at 22:30\nOn Sunday, 18 May\n18:00 Las Coloradas will celebrate the main day of its festivities with the celebration of the Eucharist and the subsequent procession of the Virgin through the neighbourhood streets, which will include a fireworks display.
