DESCRIPTION:\nTeror is celebrating ‘Fiestas del Pino’, in Honour of Nuestra Señora del Pino (Our Lady of the Pine), the patron of the island of Gran Canaria, between 24 August – 28 September 2025.\nPine Festivities is loaded with festive and religious activities, in addition to traditional events and around twenty popular concerts. Preparations for the event will take place during the morning in the Plaza del Pino and Calle Real. Sra. del Pino\n16:00 The 73rd edition of the traditional Pilgrimage-Ofrenda del Pino, representing the 21 municipalities and the Gran Canaria Island Council.\n(15:30) Route: from Castañero Gordo to Plaza del Pino.\nThe procession will be led by the cart from the host municipality, Teror, followed by that of the Gran Canaria Island Council, co-organiser of the festivities in honour of the Patron Saint of the Canarian Diocese, followed by those from La Aldea de San Nicolás and Mogán, which, due to their geographical distance, are not included in the lottery that has been held for the past twenty years.\nThe municipalities of Arucas, Artenara, Agüimes, Santa Lucía de Tirajana, Valsequillo, Firgas, Telde, Vega de San Mateo, Tejeda, Moya, Santa María de Guía, Ingenio, Gáldar, Valleseco, Santa Brígida, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Agaete, and San Bartolomé de Tirajana will then participate in the pilgrimage-offering.
