DESCRIPTION:\nTunte, the gorgeous “municipal capital” of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, is celebrating one of its Patron Saint festivities, in honour of Santiago Apóstol (Saint James the Apostle ) between 10 – 27 July 2025.\nThe Feast Day is observed on Friday, 25 July 2025 which is also a local bank holiday throughout the municipality.\n \nHighlights:\nFriday 11 July:\n20:00 Pregón, proclamation of the festivities in the church.\n21:00 A night of Wine and Tapas\n\nSaturday 12 July: “Bajada de Santiago El Chico and “Tenderetunte”\n18:30 Mass of the “Bajada del Camino de Santiago el Chico”\n20:00 The pilgrimage walk with the statue from el Pinar to Tunte.  You will see hundreds of people, dressed in traditional Canarian clothing walking the old footpath from el Pinar to Tunte accompanied by a music group.\nat 22:00 “Tenderetunte” at the plaza with Canarian music, dancing and some tasty enyesque, finger food.\nSunday 13 July:\n21:00 Escala en Hi-Fi Infantil (well-reheased karaoke) at the plaza with the performance by the ballet school and visit of Stitch\nFriday 18 July:\n21:30 Noche Joven at the plaza with Aseres, Pedro Afonso, and Kilian DJ\nSaturday 19 July:\n20:30 Romería, pilgrimage offering through the streets of Tunte, starting from Algarrobero\n23:00 The Big festive party of Romero with the music performances\nSunday 20 July:\n18:00 Foam Party\n20:30 Meeting of the soloists.
