DESCRIPTION:\nThe little Taidía neighbourhood, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, is celebrating its traditional patron saint festivities in honour of the Virgen del Carmen between 28 July- 3 August 2025.  \nThe “Taidía – El Risco” Neighbourhood Association, organiser of the event, in collaboration with the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, has prepared a full program of activities that will begin on Monday, July 28, with the decoration of the square and streets of the neighbourhood, followed by the traditional ringing of bells.\nBetween July 29th and 31st, various games, musical activities, and charity bingo will be held, all organised by the festival committee for the enjoyment of residents and visitors.\nFriday, 1 August:\nat 19:00 Mass for the deceased.\nat 20:00 Popular cotton candy dance, and a performance by dancers from the Nahia Dance Academy and Nueva Cantera.\nat 21:00 performance by the musical group Yoni y Aya.\nSaturday, 2 August\n10:00 Zanga championship\n19:30 Romería, pilgrimage through the town’s streets\n21:30 Verbena, a lively street party hosted by Purpurina and Paco Güedes\nSunday, 3 August\nat 11:00 foam party and aquatic bouncy castle\nat 19:00 Mass by the parish priest, Francisco Cruz, during which an offering will be made to the Virgin of Carmen. A procession will then follow, accompanied by a band, after which attendees will enjoy a paella donated by Burro Safari. The festivities will conclude at 21:00 with a performance by mariachis.\n \n\n
