SUMMARY:Fiestas San Rafael 2025 – Vecindario
DESCRIPTION:\nThe co-patron festivities of the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, in honour of San Rafael, are celebrated in Vecindario between 17 October – 2 November 2025. This is a festival to celebrate the city, tradition, and culture.\nDon’t forget the FunFair “Los Cochitos” set up at the fairgrounds of Vecindario. Oen in the evenings\nHighlights:\nFriday 17 October: Plaza de San Rafael\nat 19:45 the flag will be raised and the bells of the San Rafael de Vecindario church will ring. Later, folklorist Manolo Matos, founder of the popular music group Bejeque, will read the proclamation announcing the municipality’s co-patronal festivities. After Manolo Matos’ opening speech, a tribute to Pedro Grimón will be held.\n21:00 The evening will conclude with three musical performances: “Una noche con Chavela” with Thania Gil, and “Tributo a Hombres G” at 22:30 and “Tributo a Canto del loco. at 00:00” \nSaturday 18 October:\nat 10:00 the 34th San Rafael Urban Mile will be celebrated in collaboration with the UAVA club Pedestrian area of Avenida de Canarias.\n18:00 pets will be the centre of attention with the Canine Adoption Catwalk and the Canine Pilgrimage Competition at Plaza de Los Algodoneros.\n20:15 Tenderete canario and concert. Music and the election of the Romero and Romera Mayor of the festivities\n22:30 tribute to Manny Manuel, and a street party.\n00:00 Verbena, a lively street party with Arena Group\n\nSunday 19 October:\n10:00 Car, Motorcycle, and Bicycle Exhibition on the pedestrian area of Avda de Canarias.\nat 20:00 comedy night with Yeray Rodríguez and Darío López at Plaza de San Rafael.\nFrom Monday the 20th to Thursday the 23rd, there will be children’s evenings, a dance for adults, and a youth evening.\nFriday 24 October:\n12:00 Solemn religious service, followed by a procession through the streets around the plaza.\n20:00 Folklore Festival at Plaza de San Rafael.\n22:30 Cover night with Los 600 and Maldita EGB \nSaturday 25 October: \n18:30 Romería, a pilgrimage offering Route: from the Sardina intersection to Plaza San Rafael.\n22:30 Night of Open Air with Star Music Orchestra, the Leyenda Joven Group, and the Armonía Show Orchestra.\n00:00 piromusical show.\nSunday 26 October: \n09:00-14:00 Livestock exhibition at the fairgrounds.\n12:00 Solemn Eucharist, followed by a procession.\n20:00 concert by José Vélez at the Fairgrounds. Fairground\nSaturday 1 November:\n10:00-15:00 the charity event “Un corte, una ilusión” (A Cut, a Dream) will take place on Avenida de Canarias (Plaza de Los Algodoneros). The Barbería collective will offer a men’s haircut for seven euros, along with a toy that will later be donated.\n20:00 show “Bejeque en México” (Bejeque in Mexico) will take place in Plaza de San Rafael. This will be followed by a “Tribute to Shakira” at 22:30 and a street party at 00:00 at the fairgrounds.\nSunday 2 November:\n10:30 “Vecindario Family Jumping,” a sports obstacle course for families, which will take place in the morning on Avenida de Canarias.\n13:00 III San Rafael Latino at Recinto Ferial.
