( https://aguimes.es/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/250811-AF_PROGRAMA-FIESTAS-DEL-PINO-2025_DIGITAL.pdf )\nSaturday 16 August:\nat 12:00 the program will kick off with the celebration of the ‘Un Verano al Aire Libre‘ event (A Summer in the Open Air) at Soco Negro, a series of performances featuring Chispita Clown at 12:00 and the music groups Viejo Cafetín and Estrella Latina at 18:00.\nSunday 17 August: \nStarting at 09:00, nearly 300 athletes will participate in the 25th edition of the Raid de Arinaga, a multidisciplinary sporting event with specific tests of strength, balance, and precision, on an orienteering course that may only be completed using natural, non-motorised means of progression, with the sole aid of a map and compass.\nThursday 21 August:\nat 21:00 the singer Apolo will headline a new ‘Pinchos Nights’ concert on Avenida Polizón, which will continue every Thursday of the festivities.\nFriday 22 August:\nat 17:00 the fun fair, located in the plaza’s parking lot, next to the church, will open until September 8.\nUna Mar de Encanto – A Sea of Charm Festival\nThe first of the two days of the intercultural festival Una Mar de Encanto will take place at Soco Negro.\nFrom 17:00 Artisan and gastronomy area opens\nFrom 18:00 Family activities\nat 21:00 Entre Ilhas will perform. This group consists of musicians Adé Da Costa, Pablo Queu, Ner Suárez, Yone Rodríguez, Olushola Emmanuel, Ed Moreira, and Sylvie Hernández, bringing to Arinaga an original repertoire inspired by the folklore of the four archipelagos of Macaronesia.\nat 22:30 it will be the turn of the legendary Canarian folk group Non Trubada, celebrating their 33rd anniversary on stage and over time becoming one of the most prominent exponents of the Nueva Canción Canaria movement. Avenida de Los Pescadores will be the main stage for the 29th edition of the popular Vará del Pescao (Fish Vault), an event sure to once again bring together thousands of people to pay tribute to Arinaga’s seafaring past, to the rhythm of parrandas and the taste of grilled sardines. Special public transport services will be available, which can be consulted on the municipal website  aguimes.es/movilidad ( https://aguimes.es/movilidad ) , and more than a thousand parking spaces will be available near the Industrial Park for those who prefer to use their own vehicles.\nat 17:30 The fun starts from the First Aid Station, with music by the folklore groups Tabaiba and Merita la Pena. The boat with the fish is scheduled to arrive at 18:00, and afterwards the procession will take place along the Avenida de Los Pescadores, beginning the route in the Risco Verde area.\nat 19:00 Maritime romería, pilgrimage offering\n19:30 music by Viejo Cafetín parranda and Banda Isleña at 21:00 in Risco Verde\nThe party will continue in the Plaza de Arinaga, starting at 22:30, with the street party enlivened by Star Music, Grupo Arena and DJ Promaster.\nThe fireworks from the Muelle (pier), the culmination of La Vará, at 23:00.\nEarlier, in the area of Ficus, there is music on offer at 17:00 with Yeray Socorro and Apolo, as well as in the Soco negro area by Parranda El Lejío.\nSaturday 30 August: \nat 20:30 the Argones Folk Festival will take place in Plaza Arinaga, followed by Verbena, the traditional lively street party with Lady’s del Swing and Línea DJ.\nSunday 31 August:\nat 11:30 the 28th edition of the Arinaga Swimming Crossing will take place. The event is free and will feature competitions and exhibitions in calisthenics,  skateboarding, graffiti, urban music and dance, as well as workshops, food trucks, a climbing wall, and games.\nFiesta Ochentera de Los 40 Classic\nThat same evening, the action will move to Plaza de Arinaga for the 80s Party organised by Los 40 Classic.\nStarting at 22:30, Da Igual, a Spanish pop-punk band currently comprised of Wences Sánchez (vocals and guitar) and Alex Pouget (guitar and backing vocals), will perform.
