A special day that unites tradition, flavour, and culture in a unique setting that pays tribute to both its roots and its people.\nDriven by the project “Sustainable Rural Development of Municipalities with Less than 10,000 Inhabitants in the Canary Islands,” funded by the Canary Islands Government through the Rural Dynamization Plan, this event seeks to boost local economies, strengthen the promotion of zero-km products, and improve the training and knowledge of those involved in the primary and artisanal sectors. \nFrom 11:00-18:00, the day will offer residents and visitors a taste of the best of the summit’s gastronomy: wines, cheeses, and craft beers, alongside reinterpreted traditional dishes such as stewed colinos (a type of stew) and classic almond sweets, as well as tastings, samplings, and culinary demonstrations celebrating the richness of local produce.\nThe day also marks the most emotional events of the festivities, coinciding with the solemn raising of the flag of the Virgin of Socorro, a moment filled with fervor.\nTejeda thus becomes a meeting point for devotion, identity, and flavor.
