DESCRIPTION:\nSan Mateo is hosting the 6th Book and Reading Fair “Sea of ​​Cultures”, Feria del Libro y la Lectura “Mar de Culturas” from 7 to 9 November 2025.\nThe fair is organised by the Gran Canaria Island Library in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the San Mateo City Council.\nPlaza de la Solidaridad in San Mateo will be transformed into a space to enjoy reading, music, and creativity with a program full of activities for all ages.\nProgram:\n📖 Friday, November 7:\nAt 10:00, the Inauguration of the fair . Throughout the day, there will be children’s workshops, storytelling sessions, and entertainment. In the afternoon,  a storytelling session (18:00), and the little ones can enjoy the “Savoring Stories” workshop.\nIn the literary tent, the book “Volume Five. Miscellany, 1975-1979” by the poet Carlos Ramos will be presented, with the participation of Emilio González Déniz, Alfonso Crujera, and Javier Cabrera.\nThe day will close with a concert by Heriberto Cruz and Macaca Radiata at 20:00 🎵\n📚 Saturday, November 8:\nFrom 10:00, entertainment and games will fill the square. Then, Iván Suárez Rodríguez will present “The Sour Fountain” (11:00), and Jorge Laguna will talk about his work “The Blood of the Malvasia” (12:00).\nIn the afternoon, Elisabeth Espín will tell stories (17:00), and at 17:45 the philosophical works of Juan Ezequiel Morales and José María Ayaso will be presented.\nThe writer Ramón Betancor will present “The Immense Brevity” (18:45), followed by a literary gathering with Begoña Vera, Zaradat Domínguez, Annika Brunke, and Laura Ramírez, who will share their literary recommendations (19:45).\nThe day will close with a concert by Ramón Betancor and Rita Dalton (20:45). 🎤\n📘 Sunday, November 9:\nThe final day begins with stories by María Buenadicha (11:00), and the talk “The Role of Women in Gothic Narrative” by Leandro Pinto (12:00).
