DESCRIPTION:\nThe neighbourhood of San Francisco Javier (on GC-300) in the municipality of Arucas is celebrating their patron saint festivities in honour of San Francisco Javier between 14 November – 6 December 2025. The main feast Day is Sunday, 30 November 2025. Another special festive day is “Traída del Café” on Sunday, 16 November.\n \nHIGHLIGHTS:\nFriday 14 November: \n20:00 Pregón, proclamation, followed by raising the flag\n21:30 Election Gala of Young Queen of the festivities \nSaturday 15 November:\n22:00 Election gala of the Queen and Grand Dame of the festivities. This is followed by a lively street party with Ritmo Bakano\nSunday 16 November: Traída del Café – “Bringing the coffee” \nThe party consists of throwing the three flyers, “the bringing of the coffee” begins with a brass band and papahuevos (big paper-mache dolls,) throwing grounded coffee and carrying bags of coffee beans that simulate the coffee that arrived to be roasted in the past. Upon arrival in the neighbourhood, enjoy a festive party until late at night.\nprogram:\n11:30 Coffee powder distribution to people until it runs out (height of the Pizzeria Guayarmina on the main road)\n11:30 Election of Miss Café 2024\n12:oo Traída del Café, “Bringing the coffee” procession starts, after arriving to the neighbourhood, distribution of Garbanzada until it finishes. This is followed by a festive party, first with Pepe Benavente and then Grupo Arena.\nFriday 21 November: \n21:00 Drag Queen Gala\nSaturday 22 November:\n17:30 Romería, pilgrimage offering \nstarting from GC-300 to the village.
