On Friday eucharist at 19:00 at the church and is followed by traditional romería, a pilgrimage offering at Plaza del Pino at 20:00. The evening continues with a big party until 03:30 at Plaza del Mercado.

The Department of the Environment of Arucas town hall has created an initiative ‘Arucas and the sea 2019’, held between 19.9.-4.10

EL MERCADO AGRÍCOLA Y GANADERO IN ARUCAS & VECINDARIO
The Agricultural and Livestock Market of Arucas began to develop in June 2008, at the initiative of the Coag (Coordinator of Organizations of Farmers and Cattle Ranchers) and the Federation of Cattlemen of Gran Canaria (Fedegran), later moving to the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, an institution in charge of of the current market.
This market takes place every fortnight in the facilities of the Cabildo Agricultural Farm, located next to the detour to Arucas from GC-2, on the north coast of Gran Canaria. El Mercado Agrícola en San Fernando de Maspalomas. The Farmers Market of San Fernando de Maspalomas is back ( since 11 August 2019 ) in the original location.
The biweekly farmers market is held, once again, in the urban center of the area from which it receives the name, just where there is a large esplanade between three unmistakable points; the Municipal Stadium, the Center and the current Municipal Offices of Maspalomas.

TEXAS, a Scottish pop rock band from Glasgow. The band led by the singer Sharleen Spiteri is a reference of British pop rock since its debut in 1989 with the album ‘Southside’. During these last three decades they have published ten albums, of which they have sold more than 35 million copies worldwide.
Valleseco, municipality of Gran Canaria famous for its cider, celebrates at the end of September and beginning of October, the festivities of La Encarnación and La Manzana, a celebration to know and feel the municipality, its people and its customs.
In 2011, this festival was declared a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest by the Government of the Canary Islands, hence, a list of activities has been devised to promote this municipality of the island’s medians year after year.
The Festivities will officially begin on Saturday, September 22 and ending on October 13. Highlighting the Cattle Fair on Sunday September 29 and the big weekend, the first days of October, from 4 to 6.
