“Disco Bolo” will open its doors on December 16 at the Palace where CDs, vinyl records, books and merchandising of almost fifty Canarian singers and groups or residents of the Islands can be purchased. The initiative also includes live concerts that will take place at 18:00 and 19:00. Access to the space is free, although capacity will be limited.

The patio of the Rodríguez Quegles Palace will be transformed into a musical market this Christmas. An initiative that, under the name of “Disco Bolo”, will support the island’s talent and bring it closer to the public through more than twenty live concerts that will also enliven the afternoons of the historic building in which almost fifty of Artists will sell their work and merchandising from December 16.

Promoted by the Culture area of ​​the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council and Al Gato Producciones, this corner dedicated to music will be open from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:30. On the 24th and 31st, only in the morning; While on December 25 and 26, as well as January 1, the blue house on Calle Escritor Benito Pérez Galdós will remain closed. Access to the space will be free, although it will have limited capacity due to the health crisis caused by the coronavirus.

Converted into a market, in the Quegles patio you can buy the CDs and vinyls of 49 Canarian singers and groups or residents of the Islands. In this space you can also buy other items such as books, T-shirts or bags. A varied offer for the holidays that aims to support the artists of the Archipelago in a special way in what will be the second Christmas marked by the pandemic.

To bring the island’s talent closer to the public, «Disco Bolo» will also feature a program of 21 live concerts lasting approximately half an hour that will also take place outside the Palacete. The first of them by The Bucannan and it will be held on the same opening day of the market, December 16, starting at 19:00.
