The Weekend Market of Santa Brigida, ‘El Mercado Agrícola y Artesanal’ in the northeastern inland part of the island, celebrated its 33rd anniversary summer 2019. This upscale village market in the centre of the town, where the local people and visitors gets local products. Varieties of cheese, country bread, jams and marmalades, natural produced honey and a variety of confectionery.

*** The Agricultural and Craft Market was moved temporarily, starting on January 31, 2020 under a large tent in the paved area of the parking lot attached to the school of Juan del Río Ayala but the market is back to its usual location.
