On the occasion of the arrival of the month of September, the Neighborhood Association ‘San Pedro González Telmo’ of Sardina, has come up with a lovely program of events again this year to celebrate San Pedro González Telmo and Nuestra Señora del Carmen. Popular events like the papahuevos ( the big paper mache dolls) parade, the Canarian festival, La Rama, maritime procession with the statue, or the Sardina Viva festival will not take place this year for the second year running.
All the acts are framed within the health and safety regulations of the current epidemiological situation. The program will start on Wednesday the 1st with the raising of the flag of the festivities and will end on Sunday the 26th with the Religious Function in the hermitage of the neighbourhood, which in 2021 celebrates 110 years of history.
The festivities, which will be dedicated in this edition to the painter Antonio Padrón, have the collaboration of the City Council of Gáldar and other entities such as the Asociación Fomento de Gáldar.
