53rd edition of the ‘La Traída del Agua’ Bringing of Water in the neighbourhood of Lomo Magullo in the municipality of Telde. Every year thousands of attendees come to this fun party from all the municipalities of the island. Although the Traída officially begins at noon, already at 09:00 in the morning a good atmosphere begins to live in the streets waiting for the massive “water fight”.

This is part of the festivities in honor of the Virgen de Las Nieves, its centenary patron saint. The festival ends with an offering to the Virgen de las Nieves and “La Secá”, with a great popular dance in the square.

“Declared of tourist interest, “La Traída del Agua” takes place every year on August in the neighborhood of Lomo Magullo, in Telde, where more than 15,000 people gather to have fun and cool off in the middle of summer, throwing water that they take from the ditches and fountains in buckets while dancing to the rhythm of the music.
