The City Council of Gáldar will celebrate their first edition of “Gáldar en Flor” exhibition from May 13 to June 2. The Gáldar in Flower features a sample of flowers and plants that will fill the main street of the ancient pre-hispanic Gran Canarian Royal Capital with colour and beauty, the emblematic street calle Capitán Quesada.

This exhibition is the same as the one held in December on the occasion of the “Flower Week” and aims to respond to the request of neighbours and visitors who would like to see the main street shine on more occasions like in December, when it is filled with flowers and plants in the different compositions prepared for the event that encourages Christmas shopping. The local city council have taken advantage of the arrival of spring and the month of May, which is the month of flowers, to offer this new exhibition under the name of “Gáldar en Flor”.

In this first edition of May, there will be the collaboration of Viveros Godoy S.L., Poinsettias Canarias S. L. and the Municipal Nursery of the Gáldar City Council itself, which will supply the 8 compositions that will be part of this sample with flowers and plants.

On May 13 at 6:00 p.m. the opening is scheduled with a tour of calle Capitán Quesada through this orchard of flowers and plants that will once again beautify this commercial route of entry to a historic centre already of great attraction for the visitor.

Well worth a stroll through these cobbled streets and get to know all the tourist and cultural attractions that the City of Gáldar has to offer.
