1st “Noé Peña” Regional Meeting of Traditions – Parque de San Fernando

San Bartolomé de Tirajana will host the 1st “Noé Peña” Regional Meeting of Traditions between 2-3 May 2026.

On May 2 and 3, 2026, San Fernando Park (Parque de San Fernando) in Maspalomas will be the grand stage where the Canary Islands will showcase their essence through gastronomy, crafts, folklore, indigenous sports, and traditional clothing.

The event pays tribute to 𝗡𝗼𝗲́ 𝗣𝗲𝗻̃𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶́𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘇, a resident of Maspalomas and a great reference in the promotion of Canarian ethnography and folklore, who directed the Escuela Municipal de Música, for two periods (2003-2007 and 2009-2022).

• Traditional fair with food tastings from the Archipelago.
• Participatory workshops on crafts, instruments, and Canarian dances.
• Children’s creative area.
• Musical gatherings with children’s and adult folk groups.
• Pilgrims’ Gala with traditional dress competition.

An educational, festive, and family-friendly event designed for locals, visitors, and tourists who want to experience the Canary Islands in its purest form. 🌴✨
