Concert by Choral Choir groups – Gáldar
Gáldar will host the renowned Santa Cecilia Choral Showcase as part of the 8th Canary Islands International Choral Music Festival, featuring six choral groups from the island.
The concert takes place on Saturday, November 22nd, at 20:30 in the Church of Santiago de Los Caballeros (la Iglesia de Santiago de Los Caballeros). This special event celebrates Music Day in honour of Saint Cecilia, patron saint of musicians. Admission is free until the venue reaches capacity.
This event brings together renowned choirs from Gran Canaria. Representing the municipality will be the Chelys Odalys Choir and the Gáldar Polyphonic Choir, both under the direction of Maite Robaina.
The program also includes the Arenales Choir, conducted by Teresa Ceballos; the Mares Choir, under the direction of Marta Bello; the COMcanto choir of the Official College of Physicians of Las Palmas, directed by Luis Pérez, and the Choir of the College of Quantity Surveyors of Gran Canaria, with maestro Edmundo Domínguez.
