The Acebuches Trail, known as ‘The People’s Race’ due to the high level of local involvement, will celebrate its ninth edition on Sunday, 27 October 27013.
Five hundred runners will take part in the 17 and 7 kilometre distances that run through the Barranco de Arguineguin, while a hundred children will enjoy the children’s races. The Acebuches Cultural and Sports Association, with the collaboration of the town councils of Mogán and San Bartolomé de Tirajana and various private entities, is organising this sporting event.
The Cercados de Espino football pitch will be the start and finish point, starting at 9:00 a.m. with the main distance of 17 kilometres, which has a positive gradient of 1,000 metres. An hour later, the 7-kilometre race will take place, which has a gradient of 500 metres and moderate complexity, which favours the participation of people who are just starting out in this sporting modality. The children’s races will start at 9:15 a.m.
