Il Divo Concert – Maspalomas ** New Day 14 October 2023

THE IL DIVO CONCERT WILL FINALLY BE HELD ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14, IN MASPALOMAS

The Il Divo Concert will finally be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Parque Sur Auditorium. This was confirmed (on 27 February 2023) by the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council after closing this new date with the producers, due to the illness that afflicted one of the members of the group one day before the concert was to be held (on 23 December 2022), a circumstance that forced to the suspension at the last minute.

The renowned group Il Divo returns to the island of Gran Canaria with the aim of delighting the thousands of followers it has on the island, residents, and tourists.
Urs Bühler, David Miller and Sébastien Izambard return to Maspalomas, right where Carlos Marín sang with Il Divo for the last time in Spain, whose face and figure will be very present in this performance. Maspalomas was the last stage that Marín climbed and now when more than a year has passed since he left.

In this Il Divo concert, produced by the company DN7 Booking, they will present their show, which is being premiered for the first time in Spain, entitled `A New Day Tour´ and will have the special participation of the Mexican-American tenor Steven Labrie, who has accompanied on their last tours after the loss of Carlos Marín.

The San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council also recalls that the tickets purchased at the time, through purchases made in local businesses to promote their economic revitalization, are valid to enjoy the show on its new date.

 

 

No more changeable places left (*21 December)

The Il Divo Concert “Greatest Hits Tour” on Friday, 23 December 2022 in Parque Sur de Maspalomas pays homage to the baritone Carlos Marín. The concert starts at 21:30. 

The renowned group Il Divo returns to the island of Gran Canaria with two objectives: The main one is to encourage consumption in the shops and restaurants of the municipality through the exchange of tickets and invoices for tickets to a world-class concert, and that of turn the performance into a tribute to one of its components, the Spanish Carlos Marín, who died in the United Kingdom on December 19, 2021.

“Maspalomas was the last stage that Marín climbed on and now, one year after his loss, he will receive for the first time the affection and affection of his many fans in our municipality”, recalled the mayoress Conchi Narvaéz.

Urs Bühler, David Miller and Sébastien Izambard return to Maspalomas, right where Carlos Marín sang with Il Divo for the last time in Spain. The guest artist this time is Steven Labrie.

In this Il Divo concert, produced by the DN7 Booking company, they will present their show ‘Greatest Hits Tour’ to all the spectators and will have the special participation of the Mexican-American tenor Steven Labrie, who has accompanied them on their last tours after the loss of Carlos Marin.

Labrie is also a baritone who began his solo artistic career at the age of eight, the date on which he published his first album, in 1976, entitled ‘El pequeño Caruso’.

BUY FROM LOCAL SHOPS AND CHANGE THEM FOR TICKETS – CAMPAIGN 

Customers who have consumed a total of  €60 in local shops and catering establishments and presents the tickets/invoices that prove the purchase, may exchange them for a ticket for the Il Divo concert. In the event that purchases exceed €100, customers will benefit from two tickets.

The San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council announced that the Youth Space (Avenida de Tunte 14), located behind the Municipal Stadium of Maspalomas, will be the place to exchange tickets or invoices for purchases for tickets between 18-22 December. Opening hours 09:00-13:00 and from 15:00 to 21:00.
