Agüimes has prepared a comprehensive Christmas program of activities that will start on Friday, 29 November 2024 with the traditional Christmas market.

29 November – 1 December: The traditional Christmas market.
The Christmas market, with more than thirty stalls, will once again bring together lovers of decorations, crafts and gastronomic products typical of these dates in the Plaza del Rosario.

on Friday from 17:00 to 21:00
on Saturday from 10:00 to 21:00
on Sunday from 10:00-15:00
At the same time, there will be activities aimed at the whole family. On Friday at 20:00 the Municipal Music Band will delight the public with Christmas carols from all times and for all tastes. On Saturday at 12:00 there will be a magic show by Archi the Magician. In the afternoon, the musical show Magical Christmas will be performed and a gospel concert by the Musical Association Voces Soul Canarias. Finally, on Sunday at 12:00, the puppet show Una estrella singular will take place.
Friday 13 December:
20:30 Christmas concert by the Municipal Music Band at the Caseta del Muelle de Arinaga, by the Municipal School of Music, Dance and Theatre
Saturday 28 December:
20:00 New Year Party with the family at the fairgrounds, featuring performances by Los Lola, Los Salvapantallas, Paco Guedes and DJ Ulises Acosta
Tuesday 31 December:
23:00 New Year’s Eve party in the Plaza del Rosario with music by DJ Antonio Boada and the group Aseres.
00:30 After the twelve chimes, the big New Year’s party will begin at the Fairgrounds with performances by Los 600, Star Music, and DJs Óscar Martínez, Ray López, and Nichel. Tickets, priced at 5 euros, can be purchased through the portal tureservaonline.es .
5 January – Reyes Magos / Three Kings’ Parade
The Christmas program will have its grand finale on 5 January.
10:30 lively little street parade from El Canal to the Pier
12:00 their majesties the Three Wise Men from the East will be welcomed with all honours upon their arrival in the municipality of Agüimes by sea, through the Muelle de Arinaga.
12:15 The procession will take a royal walk along the Avenida de Los Pescadores and then travel in a motorcade through the different neighbourhoods of the municipality.
13:00 Family show at Plaza de Arinaga
19:30 in the afternoon, after a well-deserved rest, the Three Wise Men will be the stars of the 70th edition of the Magna Cabalgata y Auto de los Reyes Magos de Agüimes. They will be accompanied by hundreds of volunteers from the town, who will participate in the royal procession interpreting the different stations included in the original libretto by the Agüimes writer Orlando Hernández Martín. Organised by the La Salle Association, with the collaboration of the Agüimes Town Hall, the Cavalcade will once again be the most eagerly awaited event of all the festivities for the children of the municipality.
