From September 13-30, Arucas reconnects with its coast in a new edition of “Arucas and the Sea,” the festival that unites tradition, nature, and citizen participation on the shores of the Atlantic. This event, already established in the municipality’s annual calendar, is held in emblematic locations such as El Puertillo, Los Charcones, and San Andrés, inviting residents and visitors to enjoy activities for all tastes and ages.

For more than two weeks, the Arucas coastline will host environmental workshops, coastal cleanups, educational talks, guided tours, and sports activities.

This event is organized by the Department of the Environment, with a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach, promoting the care of the sea and its ecosystems as a legacy for future generations.

“Arucas and the Sea” 2025 once again focuses on participatory culture and environmental education, with a free and open program that turns each day into an opportunity to discover, learn, and connect with the municipality’s coastal identity.
