Arucas lights up the northwest coast of Gran Canaria with the vibrant CangrejoFest 2025, set to take place on the weekend of October 4 and 5. This unique festival transforms El Puertillo and Avenida de Los Charcones into the island’s musical and cultural heart, welcoming residents and visitors to a program packed with live concerts, workshops, beachside fun, and environmental awareness.
Saturday, 4 October:

The festival opens at 11:00 with children’s workshops and activities on Avenida Los Charcones, running until 14:00.

At midday, El Puertillo beach hosts a family clown show Lío en La Escupidera.

Dance lovers can enjoy the “Dame Ritmo” dance school masterclass (16:00–18:00).

Evening concerts heat up the Playa Stage: “La Chica de Ayer” at 18:30, superstar Blas Cantó at 20:30, and “Chicas Melodía” at 22:30.
Sunday, 5 October:

From 11:00 to 14:00, more children’s activities and workshops unfold on Avenida Los Charcones. There’s also animation by Centro Tú Puedes at 12:00.

The music returns from 14:00 on the Playa Stage, with performances by Yet Garbey, an Alejandro Fernández tribute, and an exciting closing act from Elías Uche with El Mariachi Peleón.
