Día Mundial del Turismo, the World Tourism Day celebrations in Valleseco on Sunday, 24 September 2023.

The Gran Canaria Tourist Board will continue collaborating with the Mancomunidad del Norte de Gran Canaria in the organisation of the “World Tourism Day” event, which is celebrating its seventh edition.

The World Tourism Day is commemorated on September 27.

This year, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) proposes the following motto: “Green tourism and investments”, highlighting the need for more and better investments focused on people, the planet and prosperity, which is why it suggests that it is time for new and innovative solutions and not only traditional investments that promote and support economic growth and productivity.
