European Cheese Fair 2025 – Firgas

The North Gran Canaria begins preparations for the 2025 edition of the European Cheese Fair, organised by the Mancomunidad, which is scheduled to be held in the town of Firgas on the first weekend of March. This Fair is part of the actions of the European Cheese Route Association, of which the Mancomunidad has been a member since 2017, to strengthen the relationship between the agri-food and tourism sectors.

The organisers are aiming to break the record of the last edition, held in Santa María de Guía, with 30,000 people attending the Guía Market to buy more than 4,000 kilos of cheese. In its 8th editions, this event has become a meeting point for thousands of attendees, not only locals, but also visitors from abroad, as well as professionals from the primary sector and gastronomy, who have cheese as their star product.

Opening hours:
Saturday 1 March: 10:00-19:00
Sunday 2 March: 10:00-15:00
