Attention, music lovers in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria! After a 17-year absence, the iconic Sonora Festival returns to the heart of Vegueta, in Plaza de Santa Ana.
This 18th edition, organised independently and separately from the Foundation Festivals, promises to be a “festival of festivals” with a lineup that blends local Canarian talent with international influences. Admission is free, so there’s no excuse not to revel in the rhythms of urban, electronic, ska, and much more.
Sonora 2025 not only revives the nostalgic essence of its first editions, but also incorporates the winners of the longest-running band and artist competition in the Canary Islands. Get ready for two unforgettable nights under the stars of Gran Canaria’s capital, with a focus on musical diversity and supporting emerging talent.

Friday, 17 October:
20:00 Kicking off with Enac Ska, the Canarian ska band that will get everyone jumping with their contagious energy.
Next up: La Pantera, the Madrid-based rap duo known for their sharp flow and street-friendly lyrics.
DJ Saot St: An urban and electronic set that fuses collaborations with greats like Quevedo and SFDK, director of music videos and mixtapes with 49 Canarian artists.
Closing the night: Liane, finalist of the Sonora 2025 competition, with her fresh and original offering.

Saturday, 18 October:
20:00 Kicking off with O.M. Domínguez & The Village Band, the winners of Sonora 2025, ready to take the main stage after their victory in the final at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium.
Rinôçérôse: The French house and funk band returns with their new album, Psychôanalisis, bringing irresistible grooves from Paris.
Alcalá Norte: The Canarian alternative rock group, with their powerful sound and lyrics that resonate across the island.
Grand finale: Ale Acosta, the Tenerife artist who blends indie and pop with an unmistakable personal touch.
