Fiesta del Café – Fiestas San Francisco Javier 2024 – Arucas

As part of the Patron Saint festivities in the neighbourhood of San Francisco Javier in the municipality of Arucas,  a Coffee Festival will be celebrated on Sunday 17 November 2024.

The party consists of throwing the three flyers, the bringing of the coffee begins with brass band and papahuevos (big paper-mahe dolls) throwing ground coffee and bags that simulate the coffee that arrived to be roasted. Upon arrival in the neighbourhood, enjoy a festive party until late at night.

Sunday:
11:00 Coffee powder distribution to people until its runs out (height of the Pizzeria Guayarmina on the main road)
11:30 Election of Miss Café 2024
12:oo Traída del Café, “Bringing the coffee” procession starts, after arriving to the neighbourhood, crowning of the new Miss café and a daytime festive party
