Fiestas de Ayacata 2024 – Virgen del Carmen and San Antonio

The rural neighbourhood of Ayacata, nestled just below the iconic rock, Roque Nublo is celebrating their festivities in honour or Virgen del Carmen and San Antonio between 9-15 August 2024.

Highlights:

Friday 9 August:
22:00 Pregón, proclamation, followed by a festive party enlivened by ‘Nueva Imagen y su Bandurria’

Saturday 10 August:
20:00 Romería, pilgrimage offering
from La Mimbre to the main plaza, followed by more traditional music and then festive party to follow

Sunday 11 August:
10:00-17:00 Classic vehicles exhibition and competition

Wednesday 14 August:
23:00-05:00 Night time eve party enlivened by music groups and DJs all night long …

Thursday 15 August: Main festive Day
10:00 Childrenś animation and bouncy castles
14:00 Daytime festivities
19:00 Solemn churcgh service, followed by a religious procession
