The festivities in honour of Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores in the Schamann neighbourhood (Ciudad Alta) in the capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The main events are celebrated between 13 -22 September 2024. A wide program of activities for all audiences and the epicentre for the festivities will be Plaza de Don Benito.
Highlights:
The program of events will officially begin on Friday, 6 September with the presentation of the candidates for Queen of the Festivals at the La Ballena Shopping Centre.
The Cultural Week, which will take place from September 10 to 12, will include an exhibition and artistic meeting by the Association of Immigrants Without Barriers, an exhibition of traditional Latin American costumes, and guided tours with narrative by Mario Cáceres.
Friday 13 September:

Saturday 14 September:
10:00-20:00 K-Pop Party 2024, organised by the Youth Council, will offer a varied program of activities, including individual and group choreography competitions, creative workshops for Korean masks and cloth bags, and a Korean singing concert.

from 8:00 Diana Floreada will be celebrated, while at 10:00 there will be activities for the youngest, with water mattresses and children’s games.
From 12:00 the Water Dance will take place, which will be enlivened by the groups Cremita de Coco, Batucada, and Cuenta Atrás.
