Fiestas del Socorro 2025 | Tejeda
The Festivities of the Virgen del Socorro, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Fiestas en Honor a Nuestra Señora del Socorro, the patron of Tejeda, are held in September. Her image is venerated in the church, which has been named after her. This is also a gorgeous time to visit, which is officially designated, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. This year, the main program is celebrated from 30 August until 10 September 2025.
Monday 15 September is a local bank holiday in the municipality: Festividad de la Virgen del Socorro

Saturday 6 September:
10:00 Gastronomic market, tastings, and show cooking at Plaza de Ntra. Sra. del Socorro
12:00 Eucharist, followed by raising the flag of María
Friday 12 September:
20:30 Pregón, proclamation at Plaza de La Vaguada
23:00 A festive party with Yoni and Aya
Saturday 13 September:
11:00 In the Cruz Blanca, a meeting of the Virgen, procession, and moving the image to the church.
Sunday 14 September:
07:30 Diada Floreada procession in the morning with Banda Islena
11:00 solemn mass and religious procession with the image
Monday 15 September:
13:00 Traditional sancocho in the Charco Paloma (€3)
Saturday 20 September:
at 17:00 The image statue is moved to El Motor
at 17:30 Ofrenda-Romería, pilgrimage offering
at 21:00, return procession to the church for the mass at 21:30
at 23:00 baile de taifas with parrandas, followed by a festive night with Arena music group at Plaza de La Vaguada.
