The traditional festivities of Virgen del Pilar 2025 in Guanarteme, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, between 1-12 October 2025.

Wednesday 1 October:
18:00 Papagüevos (big papier-mache dolls) parade from Plaza del Pilar, announcing festivities to begin.
Route: Plaza del Pilar, Lepanto, Castillejos, El Salvador, Vergara, Covadonga, Secretario Padilla, Plaza del Pilar.
20:00 Pregón, proclamation.
21:00 Election Gala of the Queen and Miss of Guanarteme festivities.
Thursday 2 October:
18:30 All the Folklore festival groups will parade from Calle Pelayo along Avenida Las Canteras to the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium and then to Plaza del Pilar.
20:00 The festival will open in Plaza del Pilar. Groups from Catalonia, Galicia, Murcia, and the Canary Islands (Gran Canaria and Lanzarote) will participate in the Festival.
Friday 3 October: at Plaza del Pilar de Guanarteme.
21:00 Grand Final Gala Playback Battle «Todo por la Corona Canarias». Presented by Isabella y Punto, co-presenters Drag Ego and Cristina Mola with performances by Grimassira Maeva, Miss Foguen, Sirenia Rodríguez, Freyra Natale, Daneyden and Rebeca León.
23:30 ‘Aseres’ concert.
Saturday 4 October:
at 11:00 the 20º Encuentro de Papagüevos (the big papier-mache dolls meeting) at Plaza del Pilar de Guanarteme.
13:30 Concert by ‘Los Lolas’.
19:30 Grand Election Gala of Child and Young Queen of the festivities.
22:00 Show spectacle «25 años ni bodas, ni plata» by Daniel Calero.
00:00 ‘Midnightsoul’ concert, with the best 60′ and 70′ soul music.

13:00 Encounter of the island music bands.

20:00 Grand Election Gala of the Lady and Grand Lady of the festivities.

20:45 Miss World Las Palmas 2025 at Plaza del Pilar (electing the local representative).
Thursday 9 October: at Plaza del Pilar de Guanarteme.
19:30 IV Encuentro Exhibición de baile y danza: «Guanarteme es danza» Dance schools on Gran Canaria are all coming together for an exhibition show.
21:00 Show spectacle “Inmensos”, a tribute to Raphael and Rocío Jurado, by the voices of Verónica Lozano and José Ortiz.

18:00 The traditional romería, pilgrimage.

23:30 Papagüevos parade from Plaza del Pilar to Las Canteras Avenue, at the height of the Alfredo Kraus sculpture, to see the spectacular fireworks, from the Muellitos.
