Fiestas Virgen de Fátima – Veneguera, Mogán

The little hidden neighbourhood of Veneguera in the municipality of Mogán is celebrating their festivities in honour of Virgen de Fátima between 5-15 August 2024.
Highlights:
Monday 5 August:
at 17:00 The festivities will officially begin with the ringing of bells, which will give way to children’s bingo sessions, for boys and girls up to 14 years old, and adult bingo, as well as the zanga tournament. The activities will be repeated on Tuesday 6th.Saturday 10 August
from 10:00 inflatable water slides.
at 21:30 the music of the parradas and Canarian dances will fill the square of the neighbourhood with life and colour with the Baile de Taifas. The Parrada Veneguera and Parranda El Cura, Parranda La Polvajera and El Pajullo will take part. It is required to come with the traditional clothing of the Archipelago.

Sunday 11 August:
at 15:00 “Baile del Sombrero” one of the most eagerly awaited events and a tradition in the Fátima festivities, the Hat Dance, with Paco Guedes and Son Aldea. This daytime event is also a competition for the most original hat and, like all competitions, there are first, second and third prizes. The weekend will culminate with the Hi-Fi Gala for adults at 21:00.

Wednesday 14 August:
19:00 Bajada de la Rama with AGaete band 23:00 Festive party with Leyenda Joven, Grupo Arena and Dj.
Thursday 15 August: Feast Day
11:30 Mass and religious procession with the image through the streets
21:30 The festivities will conclude with a performance by Yamiley Cruz and Mariachi
