Firgas Big Band Festival 2025

Firgas is filled with music on Saturday, 3 May 2025, with more than 40 artists at the 3rd Firgas Big Band Festival and the stellar performance of Santiago Auserón.

The musical program will begin at 19:00 in the municipal parking lot, where the stage will be set up. At that time, the Joven Canarijazz Big Band, led by José Vera, will perform. They are known for bringing together some of the archipelago’s most promising emerging musicians. At 20:00, it will be the turn of Baton Rouge Dixieland Jazz, directed by José Vicente Araña, who specializes in traditional jazz and the sounds of New Orleans. Finally, at 21:00, Auserón and the Gran Canaria Big Band will close the evening with their highly anticipated performance.
