The Gran Canaria Swimrun sport competition will take place on Sunday, 22 November 2025. This year, the event will feature an urban course in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and two categories: Open and Sprint. Also, recognising the importance of sports for young people, the Gran Canaria Swimrun KIDS category has been included.

“Swimrun is an exciting endurance discipline that combines open water swimming sections with running sections across varied terrain.”

The start and finish will be located on Las Alcaravaneras beach, and the course will pass through areas such as the Port, the Arsenal, Plaza de Canarias, and the Royal Yacht Club.

OPEN, Start at 13:00 from Las Alcaravaneras Beach
Distance of 6,540 meters (1,410m swim & 5,130m run).
You can participate in the SOLO or TEAM category.
A maximum time of 1 hour and 15 minutes will be allowed to complete the test.

SPRINT, Start at 13:00 from Las Alcaravaneras Beach
Distance of 12,580 meters (2,820m swim & 9,760m run).
You can participate in the SOLO or TEAM category.
A maximum time of 2 hours and 30 minutes will be allowed to complete the test.

Gran Canaria Swimrun KIDS, Start at 12:00 from Las Alcaravaneras Beach
You can participate in the following categories:
Ages 10 to 13: Distance of 1,000 m. (200m swim & 800m run).
Ages 14 to 17: Distance of 2,000 m. (400m swim & 1,600m run).
