La Aldea Christmas program 2024 with activities full of tradition, culture, and fun for all audiences.
Sunday 1 December:
The 2024 Christmas program in La Aldea will start on Sunday with the traditional inauguration of the Nativity scene, in the Parish of Tasarte, at 10:00
at 11:00 the Swimming Crossing competition will take place at the Muelle de La Aldea
at 12:30 an Ensemble Concert will be held in the Parish of San Nicolás de Tolentino, under the title ‘Ecos del Patrimony ‘, starring Nicolás and the Hemolia Quartet.
Saturday 7 December
17:00-23:00 the Open Shopping Area will be the epicentre of the Christmas Market and will feature children’s entertainment from 17:00 on Calle Real.
The public will be able to enjoy the FIT & DANCE show by Sory’s Dancers at 19:00, followed by a performance by Germán López at 20:00.
Sunday 8 December
10:00 a day dedicated to culture and archeology with an activity aimed at families, organized by the Risco CaÃdo Cultural Landscape and the Sacred Mountains of Gran Canaria. This activity will begin in the area around the Pier.
The program will continue on Saturday, 14 December, with another family activity on the environment, entitled ‘If fish could talk’, also organized by the Risco CaÃdo Cultural Landscape and the Sacred Mountains of Gran Canaria. In the afternoon, the Hamburger Festival will take place from 19:00 to 23:00 in the Open Shopping Area.
On Friday, December 20, the Municipal Cultural Center will be the stage for the long-awaited Christmas Concert, with the participation of the musician Isidro RodrÃguez, at 20:30.
The Christmas spirit will continue on Sunday, December 22, with the traditional Festival of Christmas Carols, at the Municipal Cultural Centre, at 20:00
On Saturday, December 21, the public will be able to attend the Spanish Champions Artistic Swimming Exhibition, which will take place at 16:00 in the Los Cascajos sports centre.

20:00 Christmas carol meeting of the Isidro RodrÃguez Music School and the Parish choir, an event full of music, Christmas spirit and the authentic flavor of our traditions at Plaza de la Alameda🎵🎄
The agenda includes a special event on Tuesday, December 31, with the celebration of the San Silvestre Aldeana Popular Race, which will start at 17:00 from Plaza La Alameda.
In the evening, La Aldea will bid farewell to the year with a Grand New Year’s Eve Party that will include a fireworks display, a street party, and the participation of the Panamaribe Orchestra, starting at 22:30 in Plaza La Alameda.
Finally, on Friday, January 5, the little ones will be able to deliver their letters to the Three Wise Men in Plaza La Alameda, in an event full of excitement and magic that will mark the end of the Christmas festivities in La Aldea.
