
San Bartolomé de Tirajana 🎄🌟 Christmas program 2024-25
The San Bartolomé de Tirajana Christmas program 2024-25 includes a wide range of cultural, festive, and leisure activities designed for all audiences.

Sunday 8 December:
Christmas in San Bartolomé de Tirajana will begin with the traditional Christmas lighting at 20:00 in the Parque Sur Maspalomas. This year the Christmas lights will be centralised at this point in the municipality, where the public will find a lighting project with elements in 2D and 3D format ranging from 1.5 meters to 12 meters high, such as walkables and photocalls, with more than 80 elements for the enjoyment of young and old.

‘Christmas of the World’ ‘Navidades del Mundo’ will take place in the Parque Urbano del Sur from December 21 to January 4.
• It will feature a 200 m² skating rink and a themed route to explore the Christmas traditions of Germany, England, Italy, Spain, the United States, France, and Finland.
• Visitors will be able to enjoy a mini train that will travel through the park and the strategically placed Christmas decorations, as well as daily parades with Christmas characters represented by dancers, circus artists, and giant dolls. For the little ones, there will be a photo wall with children’s characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Sonic, Mario Bros and Disney princesses.
•There will be a visit from Santa Claus on December 23 and from the Royal Page on January 4 to collect the children’s letters.
•Two performing arts venues will liven up the cultural offering: El Teatrillo de la Navidad, for small-scale shows with an emphasis on circus performances, and El Gran Teatro de la Navidad, where major events will be presented such as the Santa Claus Musical, the Disney Christmas Concert, the Umiaya Christmas Concert, the Coco and Pepe children’s show, the Maspalomas Talent Show and performances by the group Vocal 7.
•On 28 and 29 December, the park will also host a Performing Arts and Urban Culture Festival organised in conjunction with the Catalan production company La Urbana , which will include a dance competition and masterclasses with renowned teachers.
•The program also includes a charity race “1 km, 1 toy” , aimed at collecting new toys for families at risk of social exclusion; a pet meeting to promote responsible pet ownership; the Parrandas Meeting organised by the Maspalomas Music School; and a charming Christmas market outside the park. To complete the experience, there will be a fairground, food trucks with local and international gastronomic options and the “Navirritmo” stage, which will offer live music every day, highlighting the talent of local artists.
🌟 Outside of Parque Sur, the 10th Gala Lírica Solidaria with Judith Pessoa, which this year moves to the ExpoMeloneras Auditorium on December 27. On December 28, the Precampanadas de El Tablero will be celebrated, with a tribute to El Canto del Loco, Ochentour, and the performance of the local band Con Poco Band. On January 1, the New Year’s Concert will return, at the emblematic Mirador de las Dunas, with Olga Cerpa and Mestisay.
🌟 The Children’s End of Year Party, which will be held in the morning on Sunday 28 December on the sandbank of the Anexo II Shopping Centre in Playa del Inglés. This event will include water mats, children’s shows, a special party favour, and a simulation of the bells at midday. Vega highlighted the success of the previous edition and assured that this event will be a safe and fun space for children.
🌟 The New Year’s Eve celebrations will take place in the Plaza del Parque de San Fernando, Castillo del Romeral, and Tunte, with live music, DJs, orchestras, and surprises from 00:15 on January 1.

🌟 This year, as a novelty, the little ones of the municipality will have a very special visit, the arrival of the Royal Pages to the neighbourhoods and towns to collect the letters with the wishes of the children of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. The ‘Royal Road of Wishes’ will offer the little ones a workshop to create the letter for the Three Wise Men and children’s entertainment from December 22 to January 5, “each day in a different town in the municipality.
🌟 The Three Kings’ Parade on January 5, with the Three Wise Men parading through the streets of Maspalomas in a parade full of magic. The event will have themed floats, parades and activities that will culminate with the symbolic delivery of gifts and will conclude in San Fernando Park with the delivery of the ‘Key to the city’ to Their Majesties, an entertainment show for the whole family. Previously, on January 4, the Royal Page will collect the children’s letters in San Fernando Park.
