Santa Brigída – Fiestas Institucionales San Antonio de Padua

The Institutional Festivities of Santa Brígida in honour San Antonio de Padua between 2-13 June 2023.

Friday, 2 June:
at 20:00 the proclamation by Ramón Rodríguez Santos at the centro cultural de Villa.
After, the inauguration of the 47th edition of Florabrígida will then take place.
At 22:00 in the parking lot adjacent to the school, the performance of “La Quinta Marcha” and the group “Las Chicas Melodía”.

Saturday, June:
at 21:00 concert by the rap artist and poet from Satauteño O.M Domínguez in the parking lot, to then give way to the festival with the Grupo Ritmo Bakano and Dj.

On Sunday, June 4,
at 11:00 the Municipal Stadium of Los Olivos will be the scene, of the second edition of the Jumping Family Race Villa de Santa Brígida, which after the success of the first, held last year, reopens its doors for family fun. Admission is free.
at 19:00 the Cultural Center of the Villa will host the concert Las Medianías del Timple with the participation of the young student of maestro Germán López, Alberto González, Abraham Ramos on guitar and Iván Quintana as soloist.

Monday, June 5
at 18:00 Los Musipops, a show that will take place in the Cultural Center of the Villa and in which families will be able to dance, sing and enjoy many songs full of messages and values.

Tuesday, June 6, the children’s party will be held with inflatables, painting and animation, it will take place from 16:00 in the Plaza de León y Castillo.
at 19:00 the exhibition “Landscapes of a Life” by Dirk O.Emmerich will open its doors in the Lola Massieu Room.

Wednesday, June 7
at 7:00 p.m., a concert by the students of the municipal school of music at the Cultural Center of the Villa 

Thursday, June 8,
at 19:30 “Las Canciones de mi padre” with Mara Pérez and Mariachi Peleón.

On Friday, June 9
at 18:00, families will be able to enjoy the show “Totó, the Traveling Clown” at the Villa’s Cultural Center.
at 19:30 solidarity fashion catwalk in the Municipal Park, organized by the Social Wardrobe, and which will feature the performance of the Notelíes group.
At 20:00 the Department of Culture will present in the Lola Massieu Room the book “History of the Vega de Gran Canaria in a hundred objects” by the chroniclers of Santa Brígida and Vega de San Mateo, Pedro Socorro Santana and Pedro Quintana Andrés .
at 21:30 the Canarian group Los Coquillos will offer a concert in the parking lot. The night will be closed by the Dj from Satauta Álvaro Rodriguez.

On Saturday, June 10
11:00-18:00 the Family Day Party will be held on the school pitch. With music, a foam party, water slides, animation games and much more. It is necessary not to forget about a bathing suit and a towel.
At 22:00 the Harmony Show will perform in the parking lot, the epicenter of the festivities.

Sunday, June 11,
11:00-18:00 the fun returns with the family day party.
Starting at 17:00, the Municipal Club for the Elderly hosts the special dance of San Antonio enlivened by the soloist Emilio Carisma.
at 19:00 p.m., the Municipal School of Music of the Villa de Santa Brígida presents its new record work at the Cultural Center of the Villa.

Monday, June 12
at 20:30 humour with Omayra Cazorla, who will begin to animate the atmosphere.
at 21:30 Tribute concert to Celia Cruz. The night will culminate with the festival by Grupo D’Music and Dj and fireworks at midnight 

Tuesday, June 13, the big day of the festivities,
at 07:00 Diana floreanda, decorating the street and balconies as well as opening of the traditional livestock fair 
at 11:00 the Eucharist and the Solemn Function in honor of San Antonio de Padua will begin, culminating in the procession.
At 19:30 Florabrígida will close.
at 8:00 p.m. when the End of Fiestas concert begins with the show “A Solas” by the vocalist of Los Sabandeños, Besay Pérez.
