“Located in the mountainous central part of the island and more than 1000 meters above sea level, Tejeda’s agricultural and handicraft market, Mercadillo de Tejeda, takes place every first Sunday of the month.”
On Sunday, 2 November 2025, Tejeda is embellished with tradition with the Agricultural and Artisan Market – Finaos 2025 Special Edition. From 10:30 to 15:00, the heart of the town hosts a day filled with local products, authentic flavors, and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
You can find fresh fruits and vegetables, honey, cheese, olives, locally produced eggs, homemade pastries, and crafts lovingly made by artisans at Plaza del Socorro.
Music will be provided by Parranda El Mejunje (11:15-12:00) and Parranda La Polvajera (13:30-14:45), who will give the rhythm for a day celebrating the best of our traditions.
We will also enjoy an Audiovisual Puppet Show, “Cultural Landscape of Risco Caído and the Sacred Mountains of Gran Canaria” for families (suitable for all ages) at 12:15. Produced by Cancionero Isleño and promoted by the Institute for World Heritage Management and the Gran Canaria Biosphere Reserve. Bouncy castle for the little ones in the family from 11:30-14:30 at Plaza del Mirador del Ayuntamiento.
