The 40th International Music Festival of the Canary Islands (FIMC)
For almost four decades, practically all world music figures, many of them authentic legends, have passed through the Canary Islands. They have done so within the framework of the International Music Festival, which every winter, since January 11, 1985, turns the islands into the focus of classical creation.
It will happen again in 2024, with what will be the 40th edition of the FIMC.
To celebrate this event, from January 10 to February 9, eight great orchestras, prestigious soloists, and conductors will meet in the Canary Islands, together with the extraordinary concerts and the parallel programming, and will take music on stage for a month on the eight islands. In total, 60 concerts for an edition that, following the trail of these four decades, promises to be “legendary”…
