30 May | The Canary Islands’ Day, Día de Canarias –  Public Holiday in the archipelago

May 30 is recognized as the Canary Islands Day. This is a bank holiday in all the Canary Islands. The anniversary of the first session of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, held on May 30, 1983.

As has become tradition, the A.F. Umiaya celebrates the Canary Islands and San Fernando Day at home, with its town and its people. A night in which traditions echo in the Parque San Fernando.
On this occasion with the collaboration of the children’s dance students from the Municipal School of Mogán and the A. F. Vegueros de Tinamar.
