
The Symphonic Passion Lent Concert – Teror
The Basilica del Pino presents the charity concert “Passion Symphony” on Friday, 28 March 2025.
The concert, directed by Henoc Acosta from Teror, will feature a repertoire of processional marches. It will take place at 8:00 p.m., with admission to charity by donating non-perishable food or personal hygiene products to Cáritas.
On Friday, March 28th, at 8:00 p.m., the Basilica del Pino presents the Lenten concert ” Passion Symphony,” featuring the Mada Symphony Orchestra, which will perform a repertoire of processional marches. This is a benefit concert for Caritas, so attendees are invited to donate non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products, which can be left at the entrance of the Basilica.
The Symphonic Passion will feature works by the renowned composer Manuel Marvizón, who has lent them for this event, as well as compositions and orchestrations by maestro Antonio Moral Jurado; F. Chopin’s famous Funeral March and Vavilov’s Ave Maria. The orchestra will be conducted by Teror musician Henoc Acosta, who will also premiere his composition, the march “Alma Macarena.”
