“Triana, Una Semana Cielo Abierto” – Las Palmas de G.C.

“Triana, a week in the open air” comes to revive the artistic and commercial life of the area, coordinating great activities from 22 to 26 October 2024.

The open commercial area of ​​Triana in the capital inaugurates this cultural proposal of dynamisation and leisure that will offer a whole series of cultural performances, workshops, exhibitions and displays, as well as numerous surprises in shops and premises from October 22 to 26.

• Every afternoon from 17:00 there will be different proposals, including body painting exhibitions, hairdressing workshops, makeup exhibitions, a clothing recycling workshop and even a fashion show.

•There will be musical performances, including salsa, a string trio or percussion among others. And of course, theater 🎭 with all kinds of interesting offers ranging from shadow theater to clown or improvisation.

• The program also includes the “Route Alexis Ravelo” (in spanish), to explore the settings where the already unforgettable characters of the deceased author of crime novels moved, because in this first edition, “Triana, a week in the open air” joins the tribute organised by the Insular library and El Soco (Antiguo Cuasquías), to the writer Alexis Ravelo.

⭐ On Saturday, concluding the program, the activities will take place throughout the morning from 11:00 a.m.
The program, times, and exact locations will be informed on “Zona Triana” Instagram and Facebook profiles and on those of La Tournée de LArt.

•The shops in the area also have numerous surprises for their customers throughout the week, with prize draws donated by Triana businesses, tickets for events in the area’s theaters, and a special prize of €1000 in purchases in the shops of the Triana Shopping Zone, Zona Triana.
Customers who make a purchase at the associated establishments and who want to participate, can send their purchase receipt through a QR code and will be informed by email if they win a prize, all in line with the objective of the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce to advance the digitalization of commerce.

•And in addition, the establishments themselves will offer discounts and special prices only during the week of the event.
